About MyPDF
MyPDF.my is a free set of 48 PDF tools, made in Malaysia and available in English and Bahasa Melayu. There is no sign-up and no forced watermark.
What it is for
It handles everyday document jobs: making a PDF small enough for a form or portal, merging and splitting files, signing, turning photos into a PDF, converting to and from Word or Excel, and reading scanned pages with OCR.
How it works
Your browser does the work on your own device, so your documents are not sent to our server. OCR downloads its language data the first time you use it and then runs locally. Documents kept in the Workbench are saved only in this browser, and are deleted after 7 days unopened.
How to check it yourself
Open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab and process a PDF. You will see no request carrying your file. The only thing sent when you download is a bare number for the download counter.
What it does not do
MyPDF does not promise a perfect conversion. Complex layouts and poor scans can come out differently, so check important documents before you send them.
Who keeps it running
MyPDF is run by the creator of MyIMAGE.my and is kept free with the help of donations.
