How the Workbench works

  1. 1

    Open your PDF

Choose or drop a PDF. It is opened inside your browser and never uploaded.

  2. 2

    Work step by step

Organize pages, then use any tool: compress, page numbers, watermark, sign, protect and more. Each step can be undone.

  3. 3

    Download once

When you are happy, download the finished PDF, or export it to Word, images or Excel.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the Workbench different from the single tools?

Single tools do one job and give you a file. The Workbench keeps your PDF open, so you can do many jobs in a row without downloading and uploading again in between.

Is my document uploaded or saved anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your steps are kept only in this browser so a refresh does not lose your work, and they are removed when you close the document.

Can I undo a step?

Yes. Every step is saved as a version. Use Undo and Redo, or jump to any earlier step in the History list.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. On a phone the tools and history open from the bar at the bottom, and pages are selected by tapping.
